| Boat ramp is located on the Pennsylvania side of the river 1/4 mile south of the I-95 overpass in Yardley PA. This is a popular area for the early season shad run. The water below the wing dam is very shallow but with careful navigation, it's possible to make it through the wing dam. The small islands below the dam offer great stripper fishing in the spring and smallmouth opportunities in the summer months. Deep holes at the base of the wing dam are excellent stripper holding spots. Above the wing dam, a large one mile long pool offers some great summer smallmouth fishing. I love to fish the weed beds in the summer months. |
